"I became a Democratic activist in high school when I volunteered on Bill Clinton’s campaign for governor of Arkansas. I was inspired by Hillary’s ability to succeed as a lawyer and activist at a time when the law — and politics — was completely dominated by men. I moved to the Bay Area over 30 years ago, putting myself through Stanford University and Hastings College of the Law. For more than two decades I’ve been a strong advocate for Democrats and our community."
